in addition to pissing off music execs by giving away his upcoming record in UK newspapers[1], prince is letting people download a single from said record free (no cost, no DRM) before the release. yes, I'm linking to a Prince song. if you have a problem with that, please direct yourself to the Department of Partying Like It's 1999 and fill out the one of the forms in the box marked "forms for giant weenies who don't like awesome stuff".
